Founder of Loving Arms Childcare and Preschool, LaFarris is currently in the 2018 scholar class of Goldman Sachs’ premier program dedicated to helping entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services.
LaFarris is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, consultant and executive coach with a captivating life story that emphasizes the power of perseverance and the will to pursue purpose in spite of losing her mother at age five, teenage pregnancy, domestic abuse, and even homelessness. LaFarris now is the founder of the largest African-American owned business in her community. Her multiple degrees include Early Childhood Education and she is a nationally Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE). LaFarris facilitates a wide variety of early childhood, health, and family related programs in collaboration with notable organizations throughout the nation. Through passion for early childhood education and family well-being, LaFarris impacts the lives of others. She is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy.
To date, the 10,000 Small Businesses program has served over 6,700 small business owners across all 50 states and even has a global reach. The venture has resulted in sustained business growth for all alumni of the program.
